Dr. Miller graduated from Hahnemann Medical College in 1973. He completed a rotating medical internship at St. Agnes Hospital in South Philadelphia. He completed his psychiatric residency in 1977 at Hahnemann Medical College and Friends Hospital. Following the completion of his psychiatric residency, he worked as a staff psychiatrist at Benjamin Rush Mental Health Center in Northeast Philadelphia. In 1978 he began his career in inpatient psychiatry at Eugenia Hospital in Lafayette Hill, PA. From 1981 to 1984 he served as Medical Director of Montgomery County Emergency Services in Norristown, PA. For the next several years he worked at Cooper Medical Center in Camden, NJ where he managed an inpatient psychiatric unit and participated in the training of medical students and psychiatric residents. Subsequently he served as Medical Director of psychiatric inpatient and outpatient services at CentraState Medical Center in Freehold, NJ. In 1993 Dr. Miller left inpatient psychiatry when he accepted the position of medical director of the Marlton, NJ branch of The Counseling Program of Pennsylvania Hospital. In 1998 Dr. Miller opened his private outpatient psychiatric practice in Cherry Hill, NJ. He also served as a psychiatrist with Life Counseling Services in Cherry Hill and Haddonfield, NJ. Dr. Miller retired in 2011. He currently resides with his wife in Cherry Hill, NJ.
